Samburu

Great national reserve with a variety of wild animals and birds' species, It is well accessible with a 4wd vehicle because of the terrain. Our guide was very familiar with the park and took us where the animals were. Games drives are mostly in the morning and evening, that’s when most animals are active and it gets too hot in the middle of the day.

Samburu & Buffalo Springs

This was my first Africa Safari. I got to see lots of impalas, zebra, waterbuck, warthogs and baboon from the very start, one the second day, in less than 30 min into the safari. We saw two male lions and a herd of elephants close to the river; I understand their territory is close to the rivers outer exit. Overall, it a fairy tale ending to Kenyan holiday.
